We are a small department within NTT DATA Romania, referred to as Agile Transformation Office – your ticket to real and lasting impact in software projects. Our focus is on ensuring that agility principles stick and that we consistently deliver value. If you are a communication broker who helps teams understand Scrum theory and practice, and you can serve both the Scrum Team and the larger organization, we would like to hear from you for the Scrum Master role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist the PO, Proxy‑PO, and team in creating and maintaining a functional, efficient requirements pipeline to ensure productive sprint starts.
  • Support the adoption of a full DevOps approach and explain its benefits.
  • Provide hands‑on guidance and advice to resolve issues and impediments as they arise.
  • Help the team achieve our zero spillover and zero defect goals.
  • Coach the team to meet a more comprehensive Definition of Done (DoD), especially regarding documentation and testing.
  • Guide the team in problem‑solving and decision‑making to foster continuous improvement and self‑management beyond retrospectives.
  • Promote a positive error culture and resolve conflicts with a constructive, healing mindset.
  • Define reasonable KPIs and visual indicators to enable effective inspect‑and‑adapt practices.
  • Facilitate focused, time‑boxed meetings and ensure alignment with meeting objectives.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure Scrum events deliver value for both the team and the customer.
  • Strengthen team resilience through tested business continuity measures and cross‑functional capabilities.

What You'll Bring Along

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven, hands‑on experience with both agile and predictive software development approaches.
  • Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
