Senior DevOps Engineer – Platform Enablement

Herzumè is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer – Platform Enablement to join our team and support our client in the Energy & Utility sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for:

1. Designing and maintaining application skeleton templates to simplify team onboarding.
2. Defining and implementing robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for various languages (C++, ARM, Go, Rust, Node.js).
3. Supporting configuration and integration with Backstage as a developer portal.
4. Collaborating on secret management via Vault.
5. Contributing to platform monitoring using tools like Grafana and custom alerting.
6. Maintaining updated technical documentation and promoting DevOps / GitOps best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, preferably in enterprise or cloud-native platforms.
• Strong experience with GitHub, GitOps, and multi-team repository management.
• Excellent knowledge of YAML for defining resources, workflows, and infrastructure templates.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Backstage for developer portals and Vault for secret management.
• Knowledge of OpenShift and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency with Tekton or alternative solutions for modular CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus for monitoring and metrics/log management.
• Ability to test and debug local pipelines and containerized services.
• Familiarity with skeleton/template applications for onboarding new projects.
