Job Overview

Job Overview: Reports to the Completion Turnover Manager and responsible for coordinating the development of system packages and handover documentation. At Site, the Turnover Coordinator is responsible for coordination of walk downs and punch list activities for Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, Ready for Start-Up activities during the EPC project execution in accordance with the approved Completions Plan and/or procedure(s). Work collaboratively within the Project team and with Client to maintain positive relationships. Understanding of key Engineering drawings for systemization and completion activities is essential. Candidate will have strong analytical and attention to detail with experience in data manipulation. Knowledge of PMIS / PCOS is a plus. The position is initially office based for around 15 months in Milan, Italy before transferring to Site until handover of a two train LNG facility at RFSU.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Must have a minimal of 5 years’ experience on EPC projects as a completions specialist / coordinator / administrator.
  • Must have experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in a Completions position.
  • Experience with PMIS / PCOS software is preferred but other Completions Management System will be considered.
  • Demonstrates a broad technical knowledge of construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the handover, walk down and punch listing processes.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of compiling system / handover packages.
  • Must have a good understanding of preservation and maintenance activities.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers.
  • Must have excellent computer software skills in MS Office suite as a minimum and tools to mark up drawings.
  • Must have good Presentation skills for meetings with Construction and Client.
  • Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to the needs of various discipline groups.
  • Must have the ability to assess and communicate project requirements and expectations in a clear defined, positive and productive manner.
  • Willing and able to travel to Project JV location on assignments and to Project Site location on rotational basis.
  • Proficiency in English, Multi-Language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Understand and implement the Completions Plan for the project.
  • Performs coordination of completion activities between Completions, Quality, Construction, Commissioning and Client personnel as necessary and monitor the field activities in an orderly manner according to commissioning priorities.
  • Make sure all Construction and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed and signed off in the CMS Database.
  • Make sure all Project Item list is correctly reflected inside CMS Database according to engineering data.
  • Steer coordination meetings in a perspective of an overall optimization, in terms of system completion or alternative solutions to mitigate the inconveniences that might occur.
  • Makes sure all punch items and preservation activities are completed and signed off in the CMS Database.
  • Compiles completion work packs and coordinates pre-walk down team meetings and follow up meetings as necessary.
  • Co-ordinate the preparation and upkeep of the Master Punch Lists and Exception Lists for each package.
  • Compilation of Turnover Packages electronically or hard copied in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Set up and population of progress reports belonging to Mechanical Completion for issue to defined distribution.
  • Liaise with Project Controls to monitor look ahead completion activities of all Construction and Commissioning activities on site.
  • Assist the Site QA/QC group in compiling project final handover documentation for submission to Client.
