Junior Administrative & Finance Assistant

About Us

An international consulting firm is seeking a graduating or recently graduated candidate to join our administrative and finance team in Milan. The role will provide exposure across finance and administration, supporting the daily operations of the company.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of the CFO and Financial Controller, supporting administrative and financial processes while developing strong foundations in financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project expense budgets.
• Support preparation and submission of financial documentation to clients, auditors, and external service providers.
• Collaborate with payroll companies and accounting firms, ensuring proper and timely information flow.
• Maintain financial records and organize documentation for internal and external reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports and updates of internal databases (mainly Excel-based).
• Track project file completion and invoicing schedules, reporting to the Financial Controller.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
• Excellent written and spoken knowledge of Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
• Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with G-Suite and SharePoint preferred.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines effectively, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools and applications, with the ability to leverage them in financial and administrative processes.
• Analytical mindset, precision, and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently while respecting deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
