We are looking for a Service & Spare Parts Project Manager to join our Downstream Team to ensure the correct management of after sales activities assisting the customer with spare parts supply and upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customers and the service team.
  • Lead and manage spare parts, technical assistance and plant upgrade related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Implement the operating budget for the orders the manager is responsible for.
  • Supervise the preparation of the order execution schedule, request all necessary resources, and ensure projects are implemented on time and within quantity requirements.
  • Define, together with the dedicated functions, the modalities for resource procurement (in‑house work / outsourcing, purchase, etc.).
  • Determine objectives in agreement with contractual conditions (costs, timing, quality), scope of work and corporate policy for order management.
  • Elaborate the Procurement Plan, define the level of criticality of components, coordinate with the procurement function for solving procurement issues.
  • Verify project progress through periodic reports, identify delays, decide on corrective actions, and oversee implementations.
  • Maintain official contact with the client on managerial and contractual aspects, manage and negotiate any variants or changes.
  • Issue Purchase Requests for Supply and Tenders.
  • Participate, if required, in procurement negotiations with key suppliers for supplies/tenders.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical/commercial field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role; knowledge of strip processing equipment or cold rolling and machinery is a plus.
  • Understanding of commercial and logistic principles.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide, if requested.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory.
  • CRM and/or ERP (ex SAP) software knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills, strong self‑supporting/independent character, and good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments.
  • Open mind attitude and desire to take on new challenges that complete the ideal profile.
