Supply Chain Specialist - Maternity Leave

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Specialist (Maternity Leave Cover), you will join our team in Alba and contribute to activities internally defined as Customer Service. In this role, you will manage incoming orders from Customer Distribution Centers and oversee the collaborative VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) process. You will work to optimize stock levels, enhance delivery efficiency, and improve service performance at points of sale, using demand forecasts and partnering closely with the Key Account Manager. Your work will directly support product availability and continuity of service across our network.

Main Responsibilities

In this position, you will take ownership of the Customer’s replenishment processes, constantly monitoring inventory levels in Customer warehouses and coordinating product restocking according to available production. You will ensure that Customers maintain the right inventory levels to meet demand while maximizing overall efficiency by reducing excess stock, improving delivery saturation, optimizing delivery frequency, minimizing stockouts, and strengthening order fulfillment. You will analyze and interpret KPIs connected to service level, target stock, and logistics performance, driving continuous process improvement and ensuring data-driven decision‑making. You will work in close collaboration with internal teams such as Demand Planning, Sales, Trade Marketing, Transportation, and Warehouse to secure product availability for our Consumers.

About You

You will bring a master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field and the ability to use advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP to support data‑driven decision‑making. You will bring your curiosity, analytical mindset, and structured problem‑solving approach, along with the capability to prioritize activities in a dynamic environment. You will also bring your fluency in Italian and English and your strong communication skills, which will help you interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. You will bring your interest in international mobility and your willingness to learn, grow, and contribute proactively within a cross‑functional team.
