Join Alvarez & Marsal’s dynamic Transaction Advisory team. Our award-winning practice includes over 1,000 professionals in offices across the United States, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, India and Asia Pacific. We work for premium clients on a selection of deals sector wide. Our Transactions Advisory team is a leading provider of financial due diligence globally and a firm focused on developing fulfilling careers in Transaction Advisory.

A&M provides investors and lenders the answers needed to get the deal done. We combine our firm’s deep operational, industry and functional resources with quality financial accounting and tax expertise to assess key deal drivers and focus on the root cause of critical deal issues. The largest Transaction Advisory practice outside the Big Four, our global teams help private equity, hedge funds and corporate acquirers unlock value across the investment cycle.

How you will contribute

We are growing and continue to expand our established team in Milan. We are looking to hire a Senior Associate / Manager with experience in Transactions Advisory from a Big 4. As part of our highly skilled team, the successful individual will:

  • Join a growing team with strong leadership, bright, energetic people with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Work across the entire deal life cycle in a hands-on role, including both buy-side and sell-side work
  • Benefit from diverse and exciting career opportunities
  • Deliver international projects on behalf of many of the most prominent organisations worldwide
  • Work with large-cap and mid-cap PE houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing broad industry & client exposure
  • Contribute to and lead projects and work streams reporting directly to the Managing Directors or Senior Directors
  • Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in Italy and across geographies to build broad international deal experience
  • Gain exposure to senior team members in Italy and internationally, with on-the-job learning alongside established formal training programmes
  • Use commercial financial analysis skills to analyse key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction
  • Collaborate with A&M’s operational and commercial professionals in integrated project teams to understand the broader due diligence and deal process

Base salaries are highly competitive and bonuses are uncapped. Employees are rewarded for contributing to growing both TAG and the broader business.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Transaction Services (financial due diligence) at a Big 4 firm is essential
  • A strong academic record and professional qualifications are helpful
  • Native Italian and fluent English is required. Additional European language skills including French, Dutch, Spanish, German or Swedish are advantageous
