Piping Engineer / Disegnatore Meccanico

Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and today we are looking for a Piping Engineer with expertise in piping systems and support design to support our sustainable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial, power or chemical plant design principles, particularly in the area of 3D and 2D piping design and routing, and support design

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D models and 2D drawings of piping systems in coordination with the overall plant layout.
• Design pipe routing, support structures, and selection of fittings and components.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements.
• Collaborate closely with process, structural, instrumentation, and electrical teams.
• Provide input to material take-offs and BOMs, and understand main difference between main piping material.
• Support site activities as needed during construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in piping design for industrial or energy plants.
• Proficiency with 2D / 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadmatic, Inventor).
• The use of CADMATIC is a nice to have.
• Familiarity with international piping standards (ASME, EN, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings.
• Fluent in Italian; English is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad.
