Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to maintain and improve our Guest processes, onboard platforms, and their integrated systems. They will oversee the guest experience from cruise reservations to final disembarkation.

IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping successful IT projects by ensuring business needs are clearly defined, understood, and translated into functional solutions. They act as a liaison between business and IT teams to facilitate communication and achieve project objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, including conducting interviews, workshops, and analyzing existing documentation to understand business needs. Map and analyze current processes and propose optimized future processes.
• Collaborate with software developers, designers, and testers to ensure requirements are understood and solutions meet business needs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, including business users, project managers, and senior management, to ensure shared understanding of requirements and project progress.
• Manage activities in medium to large projects with 2-3 years of proven experience.
• Experience in multinational or consulting environments for 2-3 years.
• Preferential qualification: expertise in reservations, onboard finance, excursions, SPA, food & beverage, or guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills to relate to and communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Solid process and workflow mapping experience.
• Strong technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) for hospitality is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management and agile methodologies is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Italian, spoken and written.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
