.Net Core Developer (Freelancer)

We're looking for a .NET Core developer to work as a freelancer and on full-time projects. Location: Bologna, Italy. You will come 3 times per week to the office with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using .NET Core and C#.
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas (such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (such as MongoDB and Redis).
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Contribute to the automation of component tests to guarantee system integrity.
• Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making.
• Resolve complex performance and scalability issues.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience of at least 2-3 years working in .Net Core.
• Experience with Microservices.
• Experience with cloud (AWS Prefered).
• Experience with databases (SQL) and systems integration (API, queues messaging).
• Good knowledge of principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.
• Experience in testing (Unit Test, Load Test, E2E, …).
• Fluent technical English is a must.
• Native Level of Italian is a must.
