Static Equipment Engineer

Assigned to a project, he/she is responsible for generating documents and deliverables in compliance with the technical project requirements, as assigned by the Static Equipment Head of Department or the Static Equipment Project Leader. This includes guaranteeing quality, adhering to the assigned budget and timeline.

The Junior Engineers report to the Senior Engineer regarding project specifics, while the Senior Engineer reports to the Static Equipment Head of Department for man-hours and quality of deliverables.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the quality of mechanical calculations for pressure equipment (vessels, columns, and heat exchangers) and their compliance with contractual and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.
2. Conduct technical training as needed and share experience with colleagues across the Tecnimont Group for new design techniques.
3. Review engineering drawings and mechanical calculations of pressure equipment supplied by manufacturers.
4. Coordinate activities of drafting engineers preparing engineering drawings of static equipment and communicate necessary information to the Static Equipment Project Leader.
5. Assist in the preparation, updating, and editing of internal norms and standards.
6. Compile and issue summary sheets of loads on supports, fireproofing, insulation, painting, and auxiliary structures of static apparatuses.
7. Participate in critical phases of construction and testing for key apparatuses, when required.

Personal Attributes:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical engineering within engineering companies or static equipment manufacturing.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Availability to travel for short periods within Italy and abroad.
