Job Title : Structural Engineer
On-site / Remote / Hybrid :
On Site Location : Milan, Italy
Job Type : Contract
Responsibilities
- Overall technical integrity of offshore structure design premises.
- Design and marine structures behaviour and offshore structure compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices.
- Technical support to offshore structure construction and installation.
- Key activities:
- Design premises definition of offshore structures.
- Definition and specification of geotechnical and geophysical surveys.
- Definition and specification of met-oceanographic surveys and / or studies.
- Offshore structures (fixed / floating) layout definition.
- Internal design of offshore structures.
- Subcontracted design of structures supervision.
- Structural material selection and specification.
- ITT preparation and bid technical evaluation.
- Planning, review and follow-up of structure construction, transportation and installation.
- Structures cost and schedule estimates.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Work experience of eight (8) years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree.
- EU Nationals or those with a valid Visa / Work Permit.
