Interlocking Application Engineer

Your role

The Interlocking Application Engineer will deal the hardware design of ACC SML300 and SML400 systems.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and analysis of customer requirements already in the Tender Phase;
  • Develop the Specific Application through the design flow to "customize" the Alstom Generic Product and the Generic Application functions to the needs of the project;
  • Follow the system design process, in collaboration with the project team and the other functions involved, from the requirements analysis phase to the hardware design on the various components of the system;
  • Apply application design methods and tools in accordance with Alstom's design flow and standards, contributing to the process of continuous improvement of the design process and tools;
  • Define, on the basis of the standard architectures relating to the SML300 and SML400 systems, the BOMs (BoQ) and the hardware configuration of the cabin equipment (front / rear cabinets, cable lists, terminal blocks and relay cabinets) release with SAP of the BOMs;
  • Support the Verification & Validation and Test & Commissioning teams in the verification and validation phase of the plant by adopting design choices that minimize field activities and simplify migration management;
  • Ensure support for the Test & Commissioning phase and commissioning of the plant.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronic University Degree
  • Knowledge of Signalling Principle and Rules
  • Knowledge of standards RFI
  • Experience in Application Design
  • Knowledge of CAD tool;
  • Advanced English language level
