About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Customer Project Specialist to join our team in Milan. This role involves leading and supporting customer projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective stakeholder management, and high levels of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in managing project metrics, financials, and risks while working within a collaborative, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead small projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project costs and revenues.
  • Identify risks and issues, developing mitigation and response strategies.
  • Support and execute contract change management processes.
  • Manage partner delivery and commercials when third-party resources are engaged.
  • Conduct project support activities within project, program, or support service environments.
  • Build the project management community by sharing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Collaborate with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and resolve conflicts.
  • Identify new growth opportunities within customer environments and support presales activities (scoping, cost modelling, margin analysis).

Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Accountable for delivery of schedule, scope, quality, cost, and risk for small-scale projects.
  • May oversee up to 5 small customer projects simultaneously.
  • Provide project support across one or more programs, or transactional activities across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or supporting customer projects.
  • Professional project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Fluent in Italian (essential) and proficient in English.
