Power Platform Architect
We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect / Administrator to join our architecture team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Microsoft Power Platform environment, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring the platform's security, scalability, and performance. You will focus on platform management rather than development, serving as the technical authority for Power Platform implementation across the organization, with particular emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), and Dataverse.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive Power Platform governance framework, including policies, standards, and best practices
- Configure and manage Power Platform environments, security settings, and data policies across the organization
- Maintain the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Power Platform
- Define and enforce environment strategies, data loss prevention policies, and tenant settings
- Architect and manage Power Automate Desktop (RPA) solutions, including establishing standards for robotic process automation
- Implement and maintain application lifecycle management (ALM) processes for Power Platform solutions
- Monitor platform usage, performance, and compliance with organizational policies
- Create and maintain documentation for platform architecture, governance policies, and administrative procedures
- Advise on integration strategies between Power Platform and other enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft Azure)
- Provide guidance on licensing optimization, capacity planning, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure Power Platform implementations meet security and compliance requirements
- Mentor and guide citizen developers on platform capabilities and governance requirements
- Stay current with Microsoft's product roadmap and implement new features and capabilities as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience administering Microsoft Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), and Dataverse
- Strong knowledge of Power Platform admin center capabilities and tenant-level configurations
- Experience with Power Automate Desktop (RPA) governance, management, and deployment strategies
- Experience implementing and managing governance frameworks for Power Platform
- Proven ability to design and enforce data loss prevention policies and security controls
- Experience with Power Platform environment strategies and solution management
- Understanding of Power Platform licensing models and optimization strategies
- Knowledge of Power Platform monitoring and analytics tools, including admin analytics and CoE dashboards
- Familiarity with Power Platform ALM practices and DevOps integration
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse administration and capacity management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-600, PL-900, PL-100)
- Experience managing the Power Platform Center of Excellence Starter Kit
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with Power Platform Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and security roles
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and governance frameworks
- Experience with API management and connector policies
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements (GDPR, etc.)
- Experience mentoring citizen developers and promoting platform adoption
- Experience with attended and unattended RPA governance and management
