Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d)

As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing robust and scalable server‑side applications that empower healthcare professionals globally. You will build solutions for seamless and secure e‑health management, ensuring efficient practice management is a cornerstone of everyday healthcare work.

Your Contribution

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and/or Node.js.
• Database: Work with both relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and non‑relational (MongoDB) databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and industry trends, proactively incorporating best practices into your work.

What You Bring

• Experience: Several years of hands‑on experience in backend development using Python and/or Node.js.
• Framework Skills: Experience with NestJS framework is a plus.
• Containerization: Basic experience with Docker and containerization.
• Database Skills: Proficiency with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English and Italian; basic knowledge of German is a plus.
• Problem‑solving: Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
