System Architect

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled System Architect to join the Current System Architecture team. The role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high‑performing infrastructure solutions, ensuring the success of feature implementation and network quality.

Responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end solutions for satellite communication.
• Collect business requirements and design features with cost considerations.
• Ensure smooth implementation and rollout of new features with internal developers and external vendors.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Legal, etc.).
• Engage with external suppliers and customers to stay abreast of market dynamics.
• Develop comprehensive system architectures addressing future needs.
• Produce optimization road maps and support technical training and knowledge transfer.
• Serve as interface to Business Units, IT, Operational teams following the Demand Management Process.
• Support definition of technical requirements within the Technical Procurement process.
• Interact with external suppliers to ensure matching of desired features and system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a space‑related field, Telecommunications, or closely related discipline.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in the connectivity industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience specifically in LEO connectivity operations or development.
• Fluency in written & spoken English (French or additional languages advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen understanding of satellite connectivity.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving successful system conception.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.

Preferred

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Experience in programming in C/C++, Python or similar language.
• Field work on RF or antenna systems.
• Experience in 3GPP LTE or 5G networks.

Travel

Travel may be required for up to 5% of the time.
