Job Summary
Provide high-quality solutions that ensure production efficiency, precision and reliability of the products. Using the most advanced CAD/CAM technologies related to Lathe machine, he/she develops CNC programs that meet the specific needs of the customers, contributing to the success and growth of the company.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Understand technical drawings and specifications to develop accurate CNC programs for Lathe machine (must to have) and Milling machine (nice to have).
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines to ensure precision and quality.
- Monitor the production process and make adjustments to programs to optimize performance (minimizing cycle time).
- Design or collaborate to define all the jigs for the machine.
- Collaborate with the production and R&D team to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain documentation of programs and changes made.
- Starting from 3D file, elaborate CAM programs for high technology machine (preferred).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical workshop for precise mechanical components and/or mold makers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Technical diploma or a related field.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (preferred).
Main Relationships
- Internal: Production department, Process Eng. Quality Eng, R&D.
- External: Suppliers (i.e. for production of jigs).
