Job Description

Job Purpose

The role of the Pre-sales, Client Delivery and Support Specialist involves providing technical and functional support throughout the client lifecycle. This includes assisting the sales team with product information, pricing, and sample data; designing and delivering both standard and customized data-feed services; and offering post-sales support through help desk activities. The role also entails analyzing client portfolios and data requests, developing extraction criteria, and producing documentation to support IDS Italy solutions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a client-oriented mindset are essential to ensure high-quality service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Sales support - Provides basic information about IDS Italy solutions: technical, content and pricing matters. Production of sample files, coverage checks, simulation of applicable tariffs, creation of test environments, etc.
  • Analysis, creation and support of customized and non-customized data-feed services.
  • Client assistance (help desk), with focus on data-feed services
  • Securities portfolio analysis and coverage on data items requested by users and prospects.
  • Development of criteria for data extraction on internal or external requests
  • Production of documentation for IDS Italy solutions (presentation letters, Power Point deck, FAQ, etc.)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or finance
  • Master's degree in economics or finance, preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (CEFR B2 level)
  • Must have the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Strong collaboration skills – ability to navigate cross functional teams to deliver on shared objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to craft client-ready correspondences
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate with others
