In Champion’s headquarters in Carpi (Modena, Italy) we are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Lead with a strong background in Cloud Data Platform and Power BI to support and lead the team in the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced analytical solutions; plan and oversee digital projects to ensure alignment with Champion Europe goals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the teams to ensure the smooth integration of data from multiple sources (databases, ERP systems, legacy systems, etc.) into Cloud Data platform and represent the data in PowerBI.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced dashboards and reports that are intuitive, effective, and adaptable to business needs.
• Coordinate both internal and external resources to meet business objectives, overseeing the modular migration project to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of Data Analytics solutions.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can drive business improvements and inform decision-making.
• Ensure that solutions are clearly understood by technical teams and other relevant departments to ensure successful implementation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and manage change within the organization.
• Lead the business analysis team, coordinating and prioritizing tasks and ensuring that progress is tracked, and deadlines and objectives are met.
• Work closely with management and internal departments to gather business requirements, understand strategic needs, and translate them into operational solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong emphasis on Power BI and data visualization
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team of Business Analysts, BI and Data engineers including external vendors
• Expertise in Power BI, including report creation, dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and SQL
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering data-driven solutions to business challenges
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Advanced English proficiency
