JOB TITLE: Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing and coordinating with other Company Functions; prepare baseline documents including the schedule; ensure project planning and scheduling requirements are clearly communicated to those functionally responsible for executing the work; develop the Planning & Scheduling Procedure and the Progress Measurement Procedure for verification by the Project Control Manager; create and maintain the 90-day look-ahead schedules and perform schedule risk analysis.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Planning and Progress Control System required by contract complexity, riskiness and duration, in compliance with the Project Breakdown Structure, Company Standards and Contract specifications; monitor the project information flow, progress status and completion forecast dates; issue relevant reports (internal and to the Client).
  • Update all Project Schedules by collecting actual data, evaluating forecast dates and monitoring progress and productivity deviations compared with the baseline schedule; identify adverse trends and warn the PM in time to take corrective actions.
  • Participate in coordination meetings (internal or with the Client); maintain records for significant events, such as contractual claims/obligations, productivity, deliverables, materials status, with extensive use of Company/Partner/Client IT systems and reports; support the Project during the contract changes/claims process providing the time impact analysis.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma
  • Knowledge of English language: B1 or above
  • Experience: 3-5 years in Oil & Gas business (Offshore or Onshore projects)
  • IT Skills: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office
  • Soft skills: Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Motivation, Time & Conflict Management, Organization, Collaboration, Decision Making, Adaptability
  • Nice to have: Previous experience in Sealine Transport and Installation or Subsea field development or EPCI Platform

Location: Milan (MI), Italy- Availability for transfers is required
