WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Full-Stack Software Developer - Space Data Solutions

Location: Rome | Hybrid (2 days on-site, 3 days remote)

Join our client’s elite team in Rome, a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations. With over 30 years of expertise, they specialize in IT and space services, supporting Earth observation missions, satellite data processing, and applied research.

Your responsibilities include designing and developing complex multi-system interfaces, implementing data processing pipelines, developing backend services with PL/pgSQL, Java, and Python, writing complex SQL queries, troubleshooting software, scripting for Linux automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience in multi-system interfaces, proficiency in data processing, PL/pgSQL, Java, Python, Linux, and SQL, along with excellent English communication skills. Nice-to-haves are experience with BI tools, PostgreSQL, XML/XSD, EO data products, ETL, and monitoring tools.

Personal skills valued are proactivity, accountability, customer liaison, curiosity, and willingness to travel within Europe.

Work mode: Hybrid in Rome, with benefits, career growth, and involvement in innovative space projects. Due to data sensitivity, only EU citizens or non-EU citizens with valid EU work permits are eligible.
