Senior Operations Manager - Italy

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager - Italy to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. This role aims to bridge our central operations team with our local Italian team. The ideal candidate is an operational expert with experience in service-oriented industries (e.g., delivery, shared mobility) who excels at managing processes and reporting. This is a field-oriented role requiring adaptability and a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing operational teams and processes to ensure smooth daily operations;
• Providing detailed reports and acting as the liaison between local and central teams;
• Handling operational tasks that require hands-on involvement and attention to detail;
• Regularly visiting the field to report and resolve on-the-ground challenges;
• Coordinating and supporting local teams to ensure consistent service delivery;
• Identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes in the field;
• Ensuring all operational metrics and goals are met, with regular progress reports.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in service-focused industries like delivery, mobility, or logistics;
• Strong understanding of post-sales service operations and workflow optimization;
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective liaising between local and global teams;
• Proficiency in English and Italian;
• Proven ability to manage teams and processes with a hands-on approach;
• Adaptability, proactivity, and willingness to engage in fieldwork;
• Analytical mindset with experience tracking and improving operational KPIs;
• Knowledge of smart locker systems or logistics technology;
• Understanding of local logistics and post-sales service processes;
• Experience scaling operational processes in a growing company.
