Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

Responsibilities

• The Material Planner will be the Customer point of contact. You will coordinate and expedite the flow of parts according to Customer needs to ensure Customer satisfaction.
• Meet customers as required on a formal and informal basis to understand and define their requirement
• Transfer customer’s priorities to the shop
• Oversee the processes between customer requirements and the company deliveries to ensure OTD target is met
• Work together with Program Manager on Customers induction forecast
• Communicate induction plan to the shop
• Analyze performance gap with Problem solving approach
• Provide status reports as required and recovery plan
• Manage work stoppage and excusable delay with Program manager
• Check with customers output performance and satisfaction level on monthly basis
• Work cross-functional to provide all the information need to the customer and meet the requirements
• Have daily contact with all shop levels
• Provide monthly KPI analysis

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial degree is preferred)
• Good proficiency with SAP and Office
• Team worker
• Good oral and written communication and presenting skills
• Fluent Italian and English both oral and written
• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
