Responsibilities

  • The role of Junior Controller is a key member of the Finance Team and, through direct and indirect partnership, contributes to country growth. After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, you will oversee general accounting operations and assist the Finance Controller in the month-end close accounting, the monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • This is a hybrid role that will be based in our office in Peschiera Borromeo, going to the office 4-5 times a week during training period and 3 times a week after that.
  • In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Monitor cash collection, identify opportunities and risks
  • Prepare monthly accounts reconciliations
  • Monitor monthly and annual financial accounts according to US-GAAP and local accounting standards
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Support budget process
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Backup Finance Controller when required

Qualifications

  • Financial accounting degree or CPA certification
  • Knowledge of ITA GAAP, local ITA statutory reporting requirements and Internal Control procedures
  • Proficiency in Italian and English, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges
  • Experience in US GAAP would be valuable
