WHY WE NEED YOU?
Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Solutions Architect team to support our commercial expansion across international markets. Your mission will be to guide clients through their cloud journey with Scaleway, from discovery to migration, in order to accelerate customer acquisition and deliver tailor‑made technical solutions.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together. You will be part of a team of experienced Pre‑Sales Architects, paired with Account Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Developers, all working together to serve strategic markets. You’ll operate closely with the Italy‑based sales team while remaining integrated within the global Solutions Architecture department.
YOUR DAILY ROUTINE
- Act as the primary technical contact during the pre‑sales phase for enterprise prospects and clients
- Understand customer business needs and technical constraints to design Scaleway‑based architectures
- Support clients throughout the discovery and migration journey until the project transitions to support
- Conduct in-depth technical discovery and propose custom solutions leveraging Scaleway products
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to address customer challenges
- Drive technical workshops and proof‑of‑concept sessions with clients
- Maintain and share knowledge on Scaleway’s evolving cloud offering
- Participate in improving internal pre‑sales tools and processes
- Represent Scaleway at industry events and webinars when needed
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Pre‑Sales practice and documentation
HARD SKILLS
- 3 to 10 years of experience in technical pre‑sales or solution architecture roles
- Experience working with public cloud solutions and migrations
- Familiarity with container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, or Linux systems
- Solid understanding of application/server architectures and datacenter environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication skills in both Italian and English

- Ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements into scalable solutions
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable presenting to both technical and C‑level audiences
