Payroll Accountant

EFI is looking for a Payroll-Accountant for our office from Grassobbio, Italy. This position could work on remote partial time.

You will work in a shared-service environment, with a team that is managing payroll cycle for around 11 entities in EMEA region, but focused on Italian payroll.

• Responsibilities
• Liaison with our local HR team from different countries in Europe and also with our outside service providers (e.g. external accountants & payroll service providers)
• Your main task will be providing the monthly items to our payroll provider, and check the outcomes to ensure that payroll process is accurate using your Excel skills.
• Process the monthly payments, and accounting payroll in SAP.
• Compliance with local accounting & payroll regulations.
• Reconciliations of the Payroll Accounts in the different ledgers;
• Liaison with the accounting department in our head office in the US and EMEA offices;
• Good knowledges of Excel (be used to work with vlookup, pivot tables, etc)
• 2 years’ relevant payroll experience some of which should preferably have been acquired within a Shared Service Centre Environment or an International Environment;
• Preferably knowledge of Metalmeccanico and Commercio National Collective Agreement.
• Education level in Payroll / Accounting;
• Strong verbal and written command of English is a must for this role
• Hands-on mentality with strong communication skills;

• Experience with SAP preferably;
• Experience with ADP;
• Experience with European Payroll;
• Other European languages is an advantage like : French, German.
