The Senior Technical Inspector is in charge on behalf of the shipping company to conducts inspections, surveys and examinations of container equipment either before or after repair to monitor depot performances and compliance with the inspection and repair criteria agreed by the shipping company with local depots .

Responsibilities:

• Process on day-to-day basis authorization of repairs which are over allowed depot max amounts
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements as well as corporate policies and procedures
• Compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Meets shipping company needs and commitments
• Having regular depot audits around the world to control depot activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Relevant specific experience in container inspection and understanding of IICL inspection criteria
• Thorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of intermodal equipment, including but not limited to dry and reefer containers, mafi trailers and chassis
• Highly organized
• Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills are mandatory
• Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of products (particularly Excel)
• Highly ethical behavior.
