Job Summary

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Hub in Asti, Italy. As a member of a dedicated Team of Accounting professionals for Europe, you will be responsible for the accounting and monthly closing tasks for Johnson Electric’s European HQ that is based in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of bookings with accounting principles, internal and external regulations
• Provide timely and accurate monthly reporting packages
• Complete general ledger and analytical accounting tasks
• Carry out monthly, quarterly and year-end closures
• Maintain close cooperation with Financial Controlling
• Participation in internal and external audits when required
• Act as a Business Partner to other departments
• Ensure deadlines are met and high quality of data is provided

Qualifications

Our requirements:

• BSc or MSc degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
• Ideally 3-5 years’ professional experience in a relevant accounting position
• Fluency in business English (oral and written)
• Analytical mindset and great attention to details
• Advanced Excel skills
• Flexibility for occasional travel within Europe

Would be advantageous:

• Big Four and/or work experience in international business environment
• IFRS knowledge
