People and Culture Administrator - Categorie Protette L.68/99

As a People and Culture Administrator you will support the People and Culture team by assisting with day‑to‑day administrative tasks. The role is part‑time and will be based at Zuma restaurant in Rome.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. Located in the iconic Palazzo Fendi, it offers a stunning restaurant and a beautiful roof terrace overlooking Rome.

Main Duties

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR files
  • Handle attendance records, leaves, and basic HR administration
  • Assist the wider People team with day‑to‑day administration
  • Prepare reports and internal communications as required
  • Manage relationships with schools, universities, and interns, including internship programs and coordination
  • Support the People team in implementing practices that drive performance, engagement and wellbeing
  • Respond to internal and external people‑related enquiries and provide assistance or redirect queries to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with note taking during team meetings and cross‑department catch‑ups
  • Build strong relationships with our restaurant teams through open and positive communication and regular hands‑on, operational experiences

What We Look For

  • Previous internship or work experience in HR, administration, or office support is a plus
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Professional attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Proficiency in Canva, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
