We are looking for an experienced and passionate sustainability expert with a background in reviewing and optimizing production processes. The ideal candidate should be capable of cross-functional collaboration within the company and engaging with clients in the luxury brand segment.

The candidate currently working as a specialist in a large company and has developed the skills to become a manager within an Italian textile group with a significant industrial development plan aiming to become a leading sector player internationally.

The sustainability manager will support the company's growth by leading the group towards an integrated QHSE(S) management system — Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability .

By accepting this offer, you will take full responsibility for your role, which includes :

• Coordinating sustainability projects managing timelines, costs, and resources
• Helping to define and implement sustainability strategies with top management
• Preparing and disseminating the sustainability report
• Defining and monitoring KPIs relevant to the sustainability report
• Collaborating to obtain and maintain product and system certifications (ESG, ISO)
• Ensuring product traceability and supply chain transparency
• Promoting sustainability initiatives internally and externally, especially regarding compliance with CSRD (European Sustainability Reporting Directive) and other EU regulations
• Interacting with clients and sales divisions to ensure accurate information on product certifications and to evaluate client requests and proposals

The successful candidate should have :

• Experience in creating sustainability reports and assessing ratings
• Knowledge of the textile / fashion industry and supply chain traceability
• Familiarity with management systems, especially ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
• University-level education
• Excellent command of English and ideally French

This activity will take place between Ivrea and Como. Proximity to either city or willingness to relocate is essential.

Regarding the offer :

Candidates with full competence and all required qualifications will be hired at the 7th level in the textile administrative scale, with a negotiable RAL around 50K.

For a more junior profile requiring external training support, initial placement will be at the 6th level with a negotiable RAL starting from 40K.
