This role will oversee the design, planning, and execution of both internal and external communication initiatives, offering strategic guidance aligned with the Business Unit and Group Corporate Communications strategy, corporate identity, and brand positioning.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead internal and external communications strategy for the Transformer Business Unit.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive BU communications plan aligned with corporate goals.
- Drive budget discussions and resource allocation for communications initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders including customers, media, and senior leadership.
- Support BU leadership with messaging, positioning, and timely communications.
- Create high-impact content such as speeches, presentations, and thought leadership articles.
- Provide strategic guidance for branding and messaging at global and key events.
- Ensure execution of communication plans in line with brand and corporate identity.
- Manage media content including press releases, blogs, and trade stories.
- Coordinate editorial planning and success story development with regional teams.
- Collaborate with media relations teams to align on strategy and reporting.
- Organize external visibility events like interviews, roundtables, and industry forums.
- Lead social media initiatives and web enhancements to boost digital presence.
- Explore and integrate new communication tools like podcasts and AI technologies.
- Support internal communications including townhalls and organizational announcements.
- Drive employee engagement and branding through purpose-driven messaging.
- Maintain and update internal webpages and non-promotional social media channels.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of multimedia assets and product documentation.
- Ensure all BU content is brand-compliant, accessible, and regularly updated.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and promote cross-functional collaboration.
Your background
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Design, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 7+ years communications experience in a global company, business to business.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and experience (i.e. internal, external, media, digital, marketing communications).
- Ability to create compelling content in different forms including written, graphic, digital, social media.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with top-notch attention to detail and the ability to move projects forward independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and external partners at all levels.
- Passion for innovation and bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Fluent English, written & spoken.
- Digitally proficient in communications tools.
- Willingness to travel on business assignments.
