Business Development Manager - Lazio at Deliveroo


Fixed-term contract based in Rome.


Overview


Founded on a rapid growth of Deliveroo, this role is foundational. You will work with Italy's premium restaurants, helping them join Deliveroo and maximizing partnership outcomes.


Responsibilities



  • Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across the region.

  • Support partners in onboarding and delivering the best experience.

  • Communicate via visits, email, calls or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.

  • Help restaurant owners manage barriers or hesitations.

  • Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.


Requirements



  • Self‑motivation with targeting new business and sales experience.

  • Confidence dealing with partners or customers in person, phone or email.

  • Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.

  • Comfortable with negotiation.

  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.

  • Tenacity and persistence.


Selection Process


Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment event in Rome on November 24th or 25th. This event provides insight into the team and the role, and a chance to showcase your potential.
