Vertical Leader - Finance, Legal & HR at Randstad Professional Italia

Randstad Professional’s HR Division, specialized in the search and selection of Middle & Senior Management profiles, is recruiting on behalf of an important client in the hospitality sector for the position of: General Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the overall organizational strategy in alignment with the Board of Directors, leading the strategic planning processes.
  • Oversee the allocation of grants, as well as training and advocacy programs, ensuring their quality, impact, and alignment with the mission.
  • Lead the design of innovative initiatives to address emerging needs and develop sustainable solutions for elderly care.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and activities.
  • Coordinate operational, administrative, HR, and technological management.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and agendas to ensure effective and transparent governance.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, forums, and public events, strengthening its visibility, reputation, and global credibility.
  • Supervise the planning and execution of institutional events and communications, ensuring consistency with the Trust’s mission and identity.
  • Drive fundraising activities with institutional bodies and major donors.
  • Oversee financial management, annual budgeting, and performance monitoring, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices in governance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Healthcare, Theology, or related disciplines (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 10 years of experience as an Executive Director or senior manager in NGOs, foundations, or similar organizations, with proven success in fundraising and program development.
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of Italian, French, or Spanish is considered an asset.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, financial management, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative and transformational leadership style, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and inspire partners and stakeholders.
  • Empathy, active listening, and sensitivity towards the needs of communities on a global scale.
