Are you interested in the wind energy sector? The Taranto site houses our proven technologies and will introduce our most complex new products in the future. Our team ensures customers receive safe, quality, proven products on time. The Taranto footprint has served Vestas for 25 years and will continue to do so. The logistics department supports inbound, receiving, warehousing, internal delivery, planning, outbound delivery, stock counting, and optimal use of equipment related to these activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead according to Vestas values and behaviors, sustaining Safety & Quality Culture
• Conduct safety and quality walks daily or weekly
• Ensure full end-to-end deliveries align with plans and customer needs
• On-time ordering (OTO)
• Plan on-site daily, weekly, monthly, and annually
• Follow up on on-time delivery (OTD)
• Stock counting
• Develop staffing plans in logistics to support production and deliveries
• Ensure correct daily/weekly/annual planning and follow-up
• Follow up on semi-annual employee surveys and activities to further develop the organization

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree
• 8+ years of industrial experience
• Experience in logistics at a manager level
• Reputation for effective team leadership
• Fluent in English and Italian

Competencies

• People manager with strong open communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office; able to navigate and use it effectively
• Knowledge of SAP
