Livorno, Tuscany, Italy

Contract

12 months, fixed-term with direct insertion possibilities

Responsibilities

• Design and construction of defense system equipment
• Testing and validation of equipment systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience in design projects, including thesis or internship work
• Good knowledge of Office suite and English
• Knowledge of Visio, Project, Doors, Windchill, Creo, Cameo Magic, SysML
• Knowledge of steel and aluminum welding regulations
• Surface treatment skills
• Basic electrotechnical and electronic knowledge
• Experience with carpentry materials and metallic structure design
• Basic knowledge of CE (Directive 2006/42) and PED (Directive 2014/68/UE) regulations
• Risk analysis methodology skills
• Manual writing for equipment
• Basic use of Ansys or equivalent
• Valid B driving licence
• Team working and problem solving abilities
• Availability for occasional travel in Italy and abroad
