Reporting to Area Manager Italy, We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Diabetes Care Italy Team.

1. Primary Objective of Position

Increases sales and market share of Abbott Diabetes Care(ADC) products through the sale of all available diabetes products. Is responsible to achieve sales plan for the assigned sales territory.

2. Major Accountabilities

  • Develops and implements plans in order to create sales, maintain and expand ADC business.
  • Keeps current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
  • Maintains good relationships with customers and visits them on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with Distributors and their agents on project dedicated to Pharmacies.
  • Writes weekly reports about which customers he has visited.
  • Understands and conveys information professionally and accurately.
  • Has acquired experience and maturity on glucose monitoring marketplace.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.

3. Education

  • Degree in science as biology, pharmacy or Economics with proper experience (three - five years).

4. Background

  • Knows ADC products, their applications and competitors (instruments, technologies, strategies).
  • Knows and applies ADC procedures, policies and code of business conduct.
  • Has an elementary knowledge of English language.
  • Knows how to operate standard software packages.
  • Has a knowledge on how to sell and which strategy to use.

5. Geography

  • focus on Campania with preferred residence in that region.
