Position

The Times & Methods Specialist is responsible for optimizing our production processes and improving efficiency within the Product Development and Industrialization ones. The position involves analyzing and improving methods, workflows, and production timelines to ensure optimal resource utilization and meet production targets. The resource will support from strategic decisions to operative management, by providing insightful analysis, evaluation and advice on processes and performances.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for process improvement;
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and production cycles and recommend improvement to streamline workflows and increase productivity;
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect data on production methods and assess the feasibility of proposed improvements;
  • Develop and implement time standards for Operations;
  • Work closely with production teams to understand challenges and provide data‑driven solutions;
  • Support costing and engineering team in defining cost estimates;
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management by generating reports and presentations;
  • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes, adjusting as necessary;
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve manufacturing processes;
  • Actively participate in seasonal pricing meetings.

Profile

  • 5 years of experience in time and methods analysis within the Fashion Industry, preferably with focus on Shoes area;
  • Good command of English and Italian language;
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions;
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences;
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy in data collection and analysis;
  • Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing principles / Master Black Belt Certification is a plus.
