Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk

At our offices in San Marco Evangelista (Caserta, Italy) we are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Clerk.
Main Objective
The role carries out accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure smooth running of invoicing and payment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- General accounting
- Invoicing activity
- Checking invoices and shipments
- Execution of bank payments and transfers
- Salary payments
- Other tasks as deemed necessary to support the Finance & Administration department
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the accounts receivable and accounts payable domain in the parcels/groupage/pallets/express transport sector
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practice
- English intermediate (level B1 in the CEFR scale); Italian native or bilingual
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proactive approach
- Solid interpersonal communication and intercultural skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and to work with and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures
- A previous exposure to the pharmaceutical sector is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent work experience
