Senior Grid Engineer – Renewable Energy | Italy

A leading European energy company is expanding its renewables division and seeking a Senior Grid Engineer to support the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead grid connection and substation design from concept to delivery.
• Engage with network operators (DNOs/TNOs) to secure and manage connections.
• Oversee external engineering consultants and manage technical contracts.
• Apply engineering tools such as PowerFactory and AutoCAD for system analysis and design.
• Ensure compliance with UK grid codes, standards, and regulations.

Profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Strong background in grid engineering for renewable energy projects.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
