Bracco is an international Group active in the healthcare sector and a leader in diagnostic imaging. The Group’s main products are contrast agents sold in over 100 countries, both directly and indirectly through branches, joint ventures and license and distribution agreements.

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Legal & Compliance team, based in Milan.

About the role

As a Legal Counsel, you will deliver a comprehensive array of legal services, support, and guidance to the Company at a global level, with a specific focus on Global Technical Operations.

It necessitates providing timely, proactive, practical, and cost-effective advice and services that adhere to the highest legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties, and Tasks:

  • Serve as a legal advisor for Technical Operations Department (Procurement – direct/indirect - Supply Chain, Engineering, Energy, Manufacturing Plan), engaging in drafting clauses and negotiating agreements, mainly supply agreement, general terms and conditions and service agreements, both at national and international level
  • Provide consultancy services for pre-litigation/litigation connected to contracts.
  • Conduct training sessions for Group companies on legal topics.

Education

  • Law Degree.
  • Qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar.

Professional Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as in‑house counsel in a leading industrial company, preferably within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector, and/or in a top‑tier law firm. Experience should entail providing legal support to the Technical Operations department.
  • Professional knowledge in the drafting of legal and commercial clauses and management of the different types of contracts needed for national and international procurement activities.
  • Ability to successfully manage large‑scale projects.
  • Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
  • Fluent in professional English.
