Operations Assistant (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English Speaking

Join to apply for the Operations Assistant (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English Speaking role at The iLUKA Collective.

The Operations Assistant is a contract position for two months – Jan-Feb 2026. You will be working on an exciting client project for a Global Sporting Event in Milano and Cortina. This role supports understanding all elements of the assigned hospitality programme and assists in the development and delivery of host training, rosters and management of the host team for the programme.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-site logistics planning, preparations and implementation
  • Coordinate inputs from all management to ensure that each operational area of the programme has the required support and correct data to perform
  • Provide support to the key account management team and day-to-day guidance on operational considerations
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality programme and be familiar with all venues, locations, distances and routes
  • Assist with coordination of iLUKA host team
  • Assist with production of team and client documentation as required
  • Establish effective communication systems for the iLUKA host team internally and towards the management team on the programme
  • Assist with coordination of all designated iLUKA host team elements of the hospitality programme
  • Assist with day-to-day management of the iLUKA host team
  • Assist with host team scheduling as necessary
  • Provide host support when necessary
  • Maintain event schedules and general knowledge of the event history

This is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.

Skills, Knowledge, Expertise

  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Experience in delivering events in Milano or Cortina would be ideal
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Flexible approach to working hours and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
  • Able to build rapport at all levels
  • Proactive, positive approach to all tasks and a high degree of reliability
  • Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office
  • Leadership skills
