Your responsibilities

• Facilitate continuous improvement on Handling and Transport processes across the manufacturing sites.
• Analyze AS IS and future state and be motivated to improve activities.
• Create and maintain a plan for improvement.
• Create the needed Engineering Change Notices (CNs).
• Lead improvement tasks / projects.
• Case handler on an escalation process, used when factories cannot progress the production – urgent and often critical to resolve quickly.
• Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and responsibility.
• Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.
• Apply continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Lean.

Education

• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

Experience

• About 6-8 years of experience in similar roles as described above

• Leading improvement tasks
• Analyses Handling & Logistics processes
• Transport tool specification
• Process flow creation
• Focused on optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes with the toolbox mentioned above

Core competences

• A blend of technical, analytical, and operational competencies tailored to Handling & Transport and continuous improvement.
• Skills in process design and optimization related to Handling & Transport.
• Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand and solve problems.
• Data-driven decision making, use of data analytics tools such as Lean.
• Use of 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA to identify and solve Handling or Logistic issues.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented with strong organizational discipline.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across cultures and time zones and build a network in a large organization.
• Customer-oriented with understanding of the full business value chain from a customer perspective.
• Committed to learning.
