TYPE : Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday, 40 hours, Flex-Time system and Smart Working up to 50% of month

SALARY : €35K – €40K depending on experience, plus good benefits

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Milan, Italy (Currently 50% in office, 50% work from home.)

Responsibilities

  • Executing order processing for Import & Export business including timely issuing of all relevant documents with the help of the merchandize management system
  • On time supervision of Import & Export business incl. logistics and warehousing
  • Co-ordination of logistics in cooperation with forwarding company to arrange timely delivery from suppliers and to customers including handling / checking of relevant logistic invoices
  • Issuing invoices, applications for internal credit limit and external credit insurance, control of payment receipt including dunning process
  • Provision of sales figures for sales staff and manager
  • General customer and supplier service
  • Sales support to sales team and section manager

Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally 2 years+ of experience in import / export administration, incl. co-ordination of deliveries, ideally also in non-European countries
  • Fluent Italian and English language (verbal & written)
  • Good knowledge of French and Spanish language (verbal and written)
  • Initial experiences in the chemicals industry, and is familiar with dry and liquid bulk chemical shipments would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of merchandize management system (Axapta or SAP or similar)
  • Experience in order processing
  • Experience in logistics
  • Qualified in order processing and import / export by a relevant apprenticeship (ex : foreign trade or forwarding merchant) would be advantageous
  • Work effectively with other team members, willing to share knowledge and skills
  • Ability to assess, prioritise and manage own workload
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Good Microsoft Excel & Word skill and some SAP experience
