Contributing Writer – Ornamental by Lameice

Ornamental by Lameice is looking for a contributing writer (Volunteer) to collaborate on Ornamental Gazette, a blog and Substack editorial platform exploring the intersection of art, design, and living well.

We are seeking someone with a poetic eye and genuine curiosity for:

• The art of the table
• Contemporary and historic design worlds
• Glassware and collectible objects
• Artisanal practices and craftsmanship

This is a volunteer/contributor role (remote, flexible). Ideal for writers, emerging journalists, or design enthusiasts who wish to build their portfolio while working with a young but ambitious creative brand.

What you’ll do:

• Research and write thoughtful articles aligned with our editorial voice (whimsical, elegant, cultured).
• Explore topics ranging from the ritual of dining, to contemporary design, to the craft traditions that inspire living beautifully.
• Contribute to the early issues of Ornamental Gazette and shape its growing editorial universe.

• Interest in art, design, or cultural storytelling.
• Reliability and openness to editorial collaboration.
