Practice Area

BCG’s Climate & Sustainability practice (CS) partners with businesses and governments to help them transform commitments into action and build a decarbonized, more sustainable world, driving technological and economic transformations to realize sustainable competitive advantage. CS brings together more than 550 experts covering the full range of sustainability topics, including biodiversity, circular economy, decarbonization, sustainable agriculture, transition financing, water management, and other ESG topics—across all sectors to support our clients around the world.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

• Work on impactful projects that combine a deep understanding of the specific business with BCG’s trademark strategic expertise.
• Play a role in growth on diverse topics through case execution and client development.
• Work on top priority topics while gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to understand complex business challenges.
• Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive insights and develop strategic recommendations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that the solutions proposed are tailored to the client’s specific context. This involves frequent interactions with client team members and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to both the BCG project team and client stakeholders.
• Own module, generate value for the client and adapt the work to changing demand.
• Manage client team members and build client relationships.
• Manage project leadership expectations and mentor and develop junior team members.

What You’ll Bring

Qualification (What You’ll Bring): We’re looking for exceptional talent to join us. You would typically have:

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in industry and consulting, focused on Climate & Sustainability.
• Proven time, people and project management skills.
• Strong academic track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English.
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel frequently.
