Position

The market is growing for electric counterbalanced trucks therefore we are now expanding the team with a Product Manager to manage our portfolio of products on the European market. Your role entails understanding the customers needs, how we can drive value for them and for the company in terms of business development revenue and profit. Our department is also responsible for developing a prioritised product plan and bringing this for decision and execution.

In addition we are responsible for bringing products to the market together with other key functions within Toyota Material Handling and managing the process for an effective product introduction. We support knowledge and understanding of our products to our sales companies across Europe via structured training courses in field support and daily contacts with sales an important aspect for the loop of continuous improvement of products.

As Product Manager Electric Counterbalanced Trucks you report to the Director Product Management Craig Walby.

Your Challenge

  • Work effectively to increase market share and towards an ambitious business plan
  • Lead the support and training for our sales network
  • Development of product material on our products capability towards internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead product introduction and product updates.
  • Supporting our Product Planning Managers with input into the next generation of products as well as taking part in the development process.

Your Profile

  • Ideally you have 3 years experience from a similar role preferably with a strong customer focus.
  • Experience from a B2B role is an advantage or from material handling construction or other vehicle industry.
  • Knowledge of working with technical products is preferred.
  • You are a clear communicator and able to develop clear written documents / logics.
  • You speak and write English fluently and additional languages is an asset.
  • Degree within economic / technology / commercial area preferred.
