Job Purpose

The Site Manager is responsible for supervising the execution and progress of work on the site in accordance with the plans established with the customer and in accordance with the national law, by coordinating internal / external resources in order to achieve predefined objectives. He represents the Company on the site and is the main intermediary between the Project Manager of the contract and the construction management.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• He / She will manage on-site subcontractors and external resources appointed by Project Manager for the project site activities execution;
• He / She is the guarantee of the application of the rules in force within the boundaries of the site.
• He / She coordinates and plans the activities of equipment start-up and commissioning in collaboration and synergy with the Project Manager, coordinating the Test & Commissioning engineers (in collaboration with V&V Manager) and checking the progress and quality of the work carried out;
• He / She prepares site accounts, supporting Project Manager for the project accounting and joining progress meeting with customer and subcontractors;
• He / She verifies proper provisioning of materials at the work site, maintaining record of the project materials inventory;
• He / She is in charge for on-site safety requirements verification and application. He / She produces reports and documentation required by the law and by Health and Safety System;
• He / she ensure full compliance with environmental and fire prevention regulations, including by checking that subcontractors comply with the regulations in force;
• He / She interfaces with the Project manager of the contract, establishing periodic reporting scheduled meetings;
• He / She actually apply Quality File documentation and archives (POS);
• He / She is available for management activities carried out by phone;
• He / She is available on call for site activities related to tickets and intervention under Warranty regime, assuring first intervention and organizing second level actions if required;
• He / She is available to provide attendance on multiple sites for different projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferable if electronic technical institute;
• IS0; IS1 course certificate;
• Qualification for security officer (Preposto alla Sicurezza) according to D. Lgs. 81 / 08;
• On site protection course certificate;
• Previous experience in the role (min. 5 years);
• Ability to use measuring instruments;
• Flexible mentality and precision;
• Good relational skills;
• Ability to manage resources;
• Good relationship skills with the final customer and subcontractors;
• Good relationship skills with other Company structures to give and receive cooperation.
• Technical support to the customer for critical failures on strategic facilities;
• Availability to travel both in Italy and abroad (80% of total amount of working hours);
• It’s mandatory a good knowledge of English Language (both spoken and written).
