Responsibilities

  • Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of products at customer sites.
  • Leading in customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and to advise on technical solutions.
  • Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
  • Experience working in a mechanical and/or Control role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
  • Customer service orientation and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
  • Skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
  • Deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
  • Motivated self-starter who can make key decisions and innovate solutions.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English.
  • EU Passport or European Work permit.
  • Flexible to guarantee long term support at customer site (minimum 6 months shift).

  • Travel to and work on customer sites in line with customer requirements. Duration of work at site and hours will be in line with customer requirements. In between work assignments, you will have free time in line with Baker Hughes working time guidelines and fatigue management provisions.
