Job description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Bar Manager to lead the bar operations at one of hotel MClub del Golfo. The ideal candidate will oversee team coordination, service excellence, and beverage quality, ensuring a refined guest experience aligned with Mangia’s hospitality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and coordinating the bar team, overseeing activities, discipline, professional appearance, and service quality to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Inspecting the work environment to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
  • Anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, and accommodating all requests
  • Supervising beverage preparation and ensuring the quality of the products served
  • Keeping up with international trends to define industry-standard expectations
  • Regularly inspecting storage areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Monitoring beverage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Leading pre-shift briefings with team members
  • Inspecting staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies
  • Planning work schedules and weekly shifts for the bar team
  • Reviewing beverage sales and costs, and reconciling any accounting discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the role within luxury hospitality or similar environments
  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Familiarity with local and national regulations regarding alcohol service
  • Strong skills in team management and inventory control
  • Customer service orientation
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, personnel management, and marketing
  • Precision and attention to detail
